Your privacy

Poundr uses your information to provide profiles, matching, conversations, and safety review. This notice describes the current service.

Information we use

You register using your email address and password. Supabase Auth manages email verification, password hashing, recovery, and authentication. Poundr stores your account identifier, birth date, accepted standards version, profile information, photos, preferences, likes, matches, messages, blocks, and reports. Your birth date is private; members see your age. Your email is not published on your profile.

Who can see it

Signed-in members can see approved profiles and photos, subject to blocking and discovery controls. Approved messages are visible to participants in the match. Authorized moderators can review submitted profiles, photos, messages, and reports. Content is not end-to-end encrypted.

Storage and service providers

The service runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, with Supabase providing email authentication. Passwords are transmitted over HTTPS for authentication and are never stored in Poundr’s profile database or application logs. Supabase stores password hashes. Secure, HttpOnly cookies keep your browser signed in. Poundr does not collect financial information, use advertising trackers, sell profile information, or collect precise GPS location. City information is entered by you. Photo application metadata and comments are stripped before storage.

Deletion and retention

Delete your account through Profile settings or the account-deletion page. This removes your active Poundr account, profile, photos, matches, and messages. Limited safety reports, the selected reported message, member names and internal account references are retained separately and available to authorized moderators for up to 90 days from the report date, including after account deletion, to investigate abuse. They are unavailable to ordinary members. Expired records are automatically purged daily, so physical cleanup can take up to one additional day. Signing in again does not restore deleted data. Infrastructure backups and operational records can remain under the provider’s retention policies; deletion from those systems is not instantaneous. Rate-limit counters expire after their short protection window.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, pause discovery, delete photos, unmatch, block, report, and delete your account. Pausing prevents new discovery but keeps your existing matches.
